ANNOUNCEMENTS

September 1st, 2023

Hi Everyone,

Great news. We were able to renew the web site for 3 years! Thank you for the contributions! Here are the financial details to pay for the 3 years:

$495 - Class Creator Subscription

$ 24 - ID protect to keep domain ownership private (This is new this year and I thought this was the domain renewal, when I posted the last details, but I was wrong)

$ 56.85 - Domain name renewal. (This was not included in my last post)

$575.85 - Total to renew for 3 years.

I used the $6 we had in the kitty to help pay the bill.

If you have questions, please don't hesitate to ask me.

Happy Labor Day weekend!

God Bless!

Eileen

More sad news. Janet Mc Mechen Wichern reports that Rosemary Duca Cora passed away on July 26th. Her obituary mentioned that she died unexpectedly after a short bout with cancer. Let's keep all of our classmates, dead and alive, in our prayers. This web site makes it easy to share information about classmates.

Eileen,
Do you want us to mail a check or do you have Venmo or Zelle?
Carol Jean

My response

Hi All,

Some folks have expressed interest in renewing. My original plan was to get the number of people,  get a sense of how many years people suggest, and then compute how much each person would pay.  Given that we are in somewhat of a time crunch and participation is not clear. I have another plan.

If interested folks send a check addressed to me for how much they are willing to pay (we have varied financial situations) and let me know a check with amount is coming (eileenmeeres@gmail.com), the sum total of the payments I receive will determine how many (if any) years we can renew.

I do not have Venmo or Zelle, so it will have to be US mail. I will NOT cash any check until we have a viable amount. I will keep everyone posted.

Thanks

Eileen

Update on web site and domain name renewal - 8/5/2020.

We have enough money to renew both for 3 years, (which most agreed was the best choice), I received a total of $558 and we needed $552. This gives us an overage of $6, which I'll keep for future use. Thank you Margaret, Jacqueline, Anne, Judi, Janice, Mary Anna and Carol Jean for making this happen!  I'll do the renewal update at the beginning of September.

Anne, Jacqueline and Carol Jean also offered to help with administering the site. Thanks ladies. I'll schedule a call with you to show you how it works.

Hi Everyone,

I just received pricing for renewing the web site and  domain name. We have choices and I really need feedback from you.

1 year is $220 + $20  is $240;

3 years $495 + $57   is $ 552,

5 years $660 + $ 90  is $ 750

Which choice should we select? We currently have $ 158 from 4 members.  Please reply with your thoughts.

You can send me money at any time - Eileen Meeres, 1117 Elk Run, Maineville, OHi 45039

I also would like to hear from you about help with the web site. So far Anne and Jacqueline offered to help. We don't have to do anything difficult, so please reply one way or the other.

Thanks

Eileen
