Reunion ideas

Reunion Ideas, Hints, Tips to toss around:

(Anyone can post ideas here.) Initial the idea if you like, or you don't have to --

1. having the reunion on a Mon, Tues, Wed, & Thurs morning thereby giving us one day to go to a play or possibly a dinner theatre. Barbara E

2. having a Meet & Eat on Mon evening to accommodate alumni arriving at all hours Barbara E

3.those not staying at the hotel need to be available by what time? I don't know. Barbara E

4. Helen's suggestion: a tour of St. Patrick's Cathedral. Helen K

5. Visit Grace Church 0n 10th St. & B'way. Same architecture as St. Pat's by the same Archetect. Nancy Sheriden used to conduct tours of the church. Our guide would be free. Nancy S

6. Perhaps an afternoon tour of SAHA. Janice M & Carol Jean C both like this idea.

7. Would a 'Dinner Show' (play & dinner) be too expensive to include? Barbara E

8. Tour of SAHA sounds good, dinner of any kind, and visiting church on 10th st. All are on my 'yes' list. Maureen T

9. Red Hook is being redeveloped with hotels, etc. We can look into hotels on the Manhattan side of the B'klyn Bridge (better choices). If nothing looks promising, in a year or so there may be some brand new places in Red Hook. Barbara E

10. Who would like to entertain the idea of having some real music at our dinner? I was thinking of a singer and piano accompianist (rock 'n' roll of 1959 to 1963, or jazz or a crooner like Frank Sinatra sang? ). Think about and share some ideas. BE
